Conflict Coaching for all Your Relationships
Providence Mediation provides divorce mediation and other mediation services to help couples facing divorce and other family law concerns, including custody, child support, property division, post divorce modification, prenuptial agreements, paternity, in addition to domestic partnership agreements, and partnership dissolution actions in Hamilton County, Marion County, Boone County, Hendricks County, Morgan County, Hancock County, Carmel, Indianapolis, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Pendleton, Greenwood, Avon and Zionsville, IN.
Conflict in our work and family environment can be frustrating, distracting, or even destructive. However, when approached correctly, conflict can be seen as a traffic signal, pointing the way to make your relationships stronger. At home, in your marriage, at work, with your employer and coworkers, even with your extended family, conflict coaching from Providence Mediation can help you grow through your conflicts.
Conflict coaching involves learning about a different approach to conflicts; one leading to growth and improved communication in the troubled relationship. Next, the coach will help you determine how your natural (and usually unhelpful) approach to conflict may have made the situation worse, and how to make amends. Finally, conflict coaching prepares you with a plan to take action to resolve the conflict, and avoid future disputes.
Conflict coaching can be effective for an individual, even if the other spouse or person does not participate. If both spouses, or parties in another troubled relationship, participate (separately) in conflict coaching, the reconciliation process is usually very effective. Moreover, the coaching participant learns lifelong lessons for how to minimize conflict
For couples in troubled marriages, conflict coaching can be combined with separation, or even divorce, mediation, to provide an increased likelihood of restoring the marriage or minimizing future co-parenting conflicts.
