The unfortunate fact is that Christians experience divorce and other conflicts at about the same rate as non-Christians. Christian communities call on their members to reconcile conflicts in a way the honors God and the Church. If reconciliation of a marriage or another relationship cannot be accomplished so as to continue the relationship, it is still important that ending or changing the relationship be done in a God-honoring way. Mediation provides an opportunity to do more than avoid court. It can help struggling Christians be respectful, take responsibility for their own faults, and honor God by offering forgiveness for past wrongs--even in the process of a painful divorce. Providence Mediation is experienced in assisting Christian participants through family changes, including divorce.
