Providence Mediation is an organization devoted to providing an affordable and effective alternative for families going through times of change. We are committed to the idea that, in most circumstances, individuals and families are not served best by following the adversarial model embodied by the courts and most family law attorneys. Instead, most families can save thousands of dollars by reaching a mutual agreement with the help of a skilled professional mediator who is experienced with family law. In addition, families can save themselves untold stress by reaching a mutually beneficial agreement, as early in the process as possible, before court hearings and protective attorneys have helped the parties become unable to communicate with one another directly.

Providence Mediation was founded in 2009 by Doug Jeschke, a former divorce attorney, with the desire to follow a growing trend of collaborative dispute resolution in the divorce and family law arena. Providence Mediation follows a facilitative model of mediation, focused on providing alternative solutions to disputes based on the underlying interests of the mediation participants.
